Tanzania Rural Health Movement (TRHM) has reached a landmark milestone — the certification of its 2,000th trained community first responder. The achievement was celebrated at a ceremony in Mwanza City attended by district health officials, TRHM leadership, and partner facility representatives.
Since its founding, TRHM has expanded from a single pilot cohort to a region-wide network of trained volunteers embedded in communities across six districts. The organisation credits the milestone to the dedication of volunteer trainers, the support of partner health facilities, and the commitment of the communities they serve.
